(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) — The Wag will host a Christmas Spectacular show on Saturday, November 30th at the Middletown Arts Center. The event, which includes several guest artists, runs from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Admission is $15. Proceeds will benefit the Monmouth County SPCA.
The Wag hails from the Bayshore area of New Jersey. This four-piece unit has been entertaining and moving audiences for 21 years but still sounds as fresh as it did on Day One. With four lead vocalists, catchy melodies, and sophisticated harmonies, they will take you on a delightful holiday journey. Got songs? Got harmonies? Got fun and unbridled enthusiasm? Then you’ve got The Wag! The Wag’s Christmas Spectacular holiday show features their take on holiday classics, dancers, and comedy, along with some fun surprises – including two original Christmas songs.
Special guests for the Christmas Spectacular Show include: Jamie Marie Hannigan, professional dancer & instructor, who has shared the stage with Alicia Keys, Michelle Branch, The Backstreet Boys, and more. Ralph Capasso, sax & percussion, veteran local musician who has performed at The Stone Pony, Webster Hall and more. Michael Brett, veteran singer-songwriter, guitarist, 3-time Jersey Acoustic Award winner. Alejandro Ataucusi, guitarist for the William Paterson University Latin Jazz ensemble, composer & guitarist for Forbidden Tropics – Peruvian jazz project. Sheri Mathews, HHRS A Capella choir singer, We 3 Sing. Dennis Keefe, professional Santa Claus, Holiday Express volunteer.
“The Monmouth County SPCA has benefitted from the talent and generosity of The Wag for the last 18 years,” said Executive Director Ross Licitra, “This holiday season, we are especially excited to partner with The Wag for a Christmas Spectacular that will not only be fun for the entire family, but will help to find new homes and resources for the many abused, abandoned and homeless animals we care for.”
